THE EXPRESS DETAIL

step 1

PRE-WASH

Before beginning a wash we always start by cleaning the wheels, tires and wheel wells, paying special attention to road grime and brake dust.

step 2

FOAM CANNON SOAK

To begin the wash, we soften any dirt and contaminants with an an abundance of a pH-neutral foam lather.

step 3

RINSE

We then gently power-wash the majority of dirt and contaminants off of the paint surface. All this is before ever touching it with a towel or wash mitt. This eliminates micro-abrasions.

MITT WASH & RINSE AGAIN

Next we hand wash your car with a scratch-free microfiber wash mitt, starting at the top, and finishing at the bottom where the vehicle is typically the most contaminated. We use the "two bucket" method which never introduces a dirty mitt into the clean suds bucket.

HAND DRY / QUICK WAX

Next we hand dry while using a synthetic spray wax. Drying methods are important. Doing it incorrectly leaves either swirl marks or water spots (etching) in your clear coat. If you already have these, please consider one of our detail packages that includes paint correction steps.

INTERIOR VACUUM

Our express wash includes a light vacuuming of the carpets, floor mats, and upholstery. Its designed with our repeat customers in mind. If you would like us to tackle an interior that has a lot of dirt, sand or stains we have several additional options you can choose from.

WINDOW CLEAN

Clean windows make your car look great and also make it more safe and more enjoyable to drive. We'll clean your windows and we'll do them right---inside and outside.

TIRE SHINE

As we approach the final touches of an Express Detail there’s no better look on a freshly cleaned car, truck, or SUV than clean & black, dressed tires.
